- Second Grade Stores -
Thank you for supporting our stores project! The students had a wonderful time and were so excited to "sell" their products. With your contributions we will donate $237.85 to the Junior Diabetes Research Foundation.
Thank you so much!

- Second Grade Spring Concert -

When: Thursday, March 16th, 7:00 p.m.

Where:  Wheeler Elementary School

  • Students will need to be at Wheeler by 6:45 pm to get lined up for the performance
  • (Due to Kids Network and set up, doors to the gym will not open until 6:30.)
  • Students are encouraged to wear “nice” but comfortable clothes as there will be transitions and movement involved
- Special Treats -
If you plan on sending treats to school for Birthday's or Wildcat of the Week, we ask that you choose a snack that is consistent for all students. For example, if you choose to send doughnuts, please make sure you send two dozen glazed, or two dozen chocolate frosted, or whichever variety of your choosing. (Another example: if sending cookies, please send all cookies with the same color frosting.) Your cooperation with this request makes passing out treats a much simpler process. Please also make sure to send all necessary items required to serve this treat such as plates, napkins, forks, or spoons.

-Recess Dress-
  • It's that time of year when the weather can be somewhat unpredictable.
  • Keeping an eye on the weather and dressing your child in layers might be your best bet for some of the days with higher temperatures.
  • The playground may be muddy depending on precipitation, please keep this in mind when helping your child select shoes for the day.
  • Please be sure to send your child with weather appropriate clothing for recess time.
