Amy Davis, School Social Worker, Grades 2nd-4th, Autism Program, 504 Coordinator, Reading Corp Internal Coach

Hello! My name is Amy Davis and I am a social worker here at Anne Sullivan for grades 2, 3, and 4 and the 504 Coordinator for our site. I also work as a Reading Corp Internal Coach, supporting Reading Corp tutors in our classrooms. I have a bachelor's degree in International Studies and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin- Madison, and a master's degree in Social Work from the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities concentrating on clinical mental health and children and families. I am currently licensed with the Minnesota Board of Social Work as a Licensed Graduate Social worker (LGSW) and through the Minnesota Department of Education. I have been a social worker at Anne Sullivan School since 2018, and I appreciate the opportunity to work with such amazing staff, families, and students. Before working with Minneapolis Public Schools, I also spent time at a non-profit working as a school-based and clinic therapist.  My focus has always been supporting young people the best I can, and I look forward to many more years as a school social worker!
