Welcome to:

7th Grade Career Technical Education, 9th Grade Computer Technology, 8th Grade Business Digital Literacy, and 7th Grade Keyboarding Applications.  I am really looking forward to teaching and learning this year.

Career Technical Education - (CTE) is a year long class for 7th Graders.  This class is broken into three areas...Business, Family and Consumer Science, and Engineering and Technology.  This class is an introduction to various careers so that students can see what is available to them in the future.  The class is VERY hands on.  There will be assignments that each student will LOVE and others that they will HATE.  This is good because it identifies what areas students may or may NOT want to pursue in the future.

Computer Technology - Is a semester course for 9th Grade.  This class is a foundational element of success in today's technology-driven world.  This course is intended to help students learn concepts associated with key application software, basic computing fundamentals, and ethics and appropriate behavior while using technology as a tool in the classroom and in life.  This course is aligned with national and international standards and the Utah Core to prepare students across multiple levels of skills.

Skills will be demonstrated by creating a project for a different content area. This course is aligned with national and international standards and the Utah Core to prepare students across multiple levels of skills.
