We try not to call it homework--we prefer BRAINFOOD! I strive to maintain this on a daily basis, but I'm susceptible to the "tyranny of the moment."   • Skills Learning Target: I can identify personification in a poem.

  • Core Learning Target: I can write a poem that utilizes personification.

  • Character Target: I can raise my hand and avoid blurting out.


Brainfood: Poetry Tubes are due tomorrow! Remember, it must be beautiful, it must reflect your personality, and it must have poetry on it, and it must contain the following rules:
1. Do not shout or speak loudly in the tube!
2. The tube is not a sword!
3. Always say, "thank you" after hearing a poem.
