Welcome to Valentine Hills Library

Create a joyful reading experience for your child

A child who wants to read will read often

A child who reads often will become a stronger reader

...and develop a life-long love of reading

Tips for reading together:

·        Pick a quiet place to read where you can focus without interruptions

·        Take turns reading each book aloud.  Switch back and forth after each page or sentence.

·        Go back through the book to answer questions.  Listen and share ideas with each other.
