I feel truly blessed to begin my 11th year at Mother Seton School and my 24th year teaching in the Archdiocese of Baltimore! Though I’ve lived in Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania, the Emmitsburg area has always felt like home, especially with its many spiritual and holy places that bring peace and inspiration to daily life.
My educational journey began at Towson University, where I earned a B.S. in Elementary Education. I later earned a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and will complete my Doctorate in Education, specializing in neuroscience education, from Concordia St. Paul next spring. I am also certified in Special Education and deeply committed to helping every student thrive.
I live in Gettysburg with my husband Tom, and we share our home with one dog and two cats. Our daughter, Victoria, is also an educator and currently teaches at Bryn Mawr in Baltimore, where she now resides. Our son, Craig, continues to bring joy to our family. We love to travel, our most recent adventures took us to Germany, Austria, and Iceland, and we’re looking forward to returning to Iceland and visiting Ireland in the coming year.
This year, I am excited to be teaching 3rd grade and can’t wait for all the learning, laughter, and discovery that lie ahead. I know it will be a wonderful and memorable school year!
