I have been teaching English and speech at MHS for over twenty years.
In addition to teaching, I am a Key Club and National Honor Society Adviser.  My husband and I live on the Iowa farm that I grew up on. We have been blessed with three sons and a family that is growing.  Dustin is a welder and farmer, and his wife Amanda is a dog groomer. They have two adorable sons, Connor, who is four years old and Jason who will be two in February.  Brandon is a family medicine physician at Medical Associates of Maquoketa, and his wife Emily is an elementary school counselor in Bellevue, Iowa, and they are expecting their first child this fall.  Reece and his wife Jillian are both Doctors of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery and are currently doing residency in Michigan.  I enjoy reading, cooking, gardening, shopping, and traveling.  In my opinion, dogs are like potato chips--you can't have just one!  We currently have four dogs.  Gracie, Lucy, and Honcho are all Bernese Mountain Dogs and Pepper is an Australian Shepard Blue Healer Mix.  Gracie just had 10 adorable Bernedoodle puppies which were born in our office at home.  The father of the puppies is Rex, who is my daughter-in-law's Standard Poodle.
