The Umm Philosophy Club is a discussion group that meets Thursday in the Humanities Lounge (Humanities 105). The meetings are held with the intent of providing a forum for the discussion and debate of philosophical essays, articles, and ideas. Meetings in past have spanned a wide range of topics from Neanderthal ethics and philosophy of mind to Frege's identity theory. The club has had success with presentations from students and faculty and staff in the past and hopes to continue this trend in the future. Philosophy Club is a great place to come to debate, learn, and share ideas.
