Transfer Consortium

Be it writing-skills transfer, the generalizability of writing and rhetorical knowledge across situations, or the development of literacies in and out of the classroom, the ways and places students learn to write seems to be of increasing interest. With many different and exciting research projects taking place by individuals and institutions, the goal of this consortium is to provide a network of researchers and approaches throughout the many stages of a project, such as seeking funding, designing studies, choosing methods and tools, and interpretation.  In other words, it is hoped that this consortium will provide a place for its members to share and discuss techniques and projects in order to benefit collectively from the practical knowledge we have gained individually while attempting to study this illusive concept.
