Iowa State University's Multicultural Vision Program Scholarship is a 4-year full-tuition scholarship awarded to incoming first-year students from the state of Iowa.  Applicants must be US citizens, current high school seniors planning to enter Iowa State University in the summer or fall of 2019.  Applicant must have applied at ISU and can demonstrate financial need.  Applications are due December 1, 2019.  Students can contact the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs at or 515-294-6338 with questions.

Lead Roster B2B Sales & Marketing Scholarship
A $1000 Scholarship for emerging business geniuses!   This scholarship is a highly competitive award for high school and college students interested in sales and marketing.  Unlike most scholarships which require a simple essay and "good luck" to win, the Lead Roster scholarship puts the tools for winning in your hands by judging your entry on your ability to market and sell your ideas!  Student applying must submit the URP of a video they've uploaded to YouTube where you explain, present, convince, inspire, entertain, market and/or sell us your reason why you deserve to win this scholarship.  The video can be anything you feel will compell us to choose your entry as long as it has "Lead Roster Scholarship" in the title and is publicly viewable.  Studying in the fields of Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Communications or IT are recommended by not required.  Being passionate about communicating your ideas is an absolute must.  We're excited to see what the next generation of business leaders will do to create a winning video!  Deadline to apply is December 15, 2018.  Go to for more information. A $1000 Scholarship for emerging Marketing geniuses!   This scholarship is a highly competitive award for high school and college students interested in SEO and content marketing.  Unlike most scholarships which require a "good luck" to win, the scholarship puts the tools for winning in your hands by judging your entry on your ability to appreciate and explain genius marketing!  Student applying must submit a brief essay explaining the best use of content marketing - the act of producing content to compel your audience and share it - that they have seen.  In 5 paragraphs or less, you should share what you saw (feel free to link to it if it is online), how it made you feel, the call-to-action, and ultimately explain why a certain marketing campaign was the best use of content marketing that you have ever seen for the purposes of achieving business goals (typically increasing revenue and profits).  Studying in the fields of Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Communications or IT are recommended by not required.  Being passionate about appreciating great marketing is an absolute must.  We're excited to see what the next generation of marketing leaders thinks is great content!  Deadline to apply is December 20, 2018.  Go to for more information.

Iowa Student Loan will award 30 Iowa high school seniors each $2000 to use for their 2019-20 college expenses.  Interested seniors should go to to register and read the complete scholarship rules.  No purchase is necessary to enter the scholarship.  Register by February 16, 2018.  Once registered, seniors will receive an email with instructions to complete two online tutorials and assessment.  These must be completed by February 22, 2018.

Iowa State University's College of Engineering has announced their 2019-2020 scholarship opportunities!  They include the Automatic Merit Scholarship and the Application-based Scholarships for first year students and scholarships for Transfer Students and Current Students.  Contact the College of Engineering and the Office of Student Financial Aid for more information!

Northeast Iowa Community College - two new scholarships will be awarded to seniors planning to attend NICC in the fall of 2019:  Opportunity Scholarship ($1000) and the Loyalty Scholarship ($1500).  All seniors interested in attending NICC should complete the Scholarship Application by April 1, 2019 to qualify for additional college or Foundation scholarships.  Contact with any questions!

QuestBridge is a non-profit organization whose missions is to increase the number of outstanding low-income student who attend leading colleges and to support them to achieve success.  Through QuestBridge the students apply for the National College Match.  This is open to high school seniors who demonstrate academic achievement, strength in character and a need for financial need.  To get more information on eligibility and to complete the online application, go to by September 27, 2018.

American Legacy Scholarship
The American Legion's Legacy Scholarship Fund provides college scholarship money to children of post-9/11 veterans who died on active duty, or have a combined VA disability rating of 50 percent or greater.  Go to  for more information.

Iowa Chapter
The Iowa Chapter has been awarding two annual student scholarships for several years.  We have an application form that each student applicant must complete.  The award is determined by a panel from the Student Activities Committee.  They use three mail determining factors: financial need, ASHRAE related study emphasis, and desire to stay in HVAC field of work.  Go to for contact information.
