Chromebook Repairs

Q:  What happens if a Chromebook is damaged?
A:  Please contact the Technology Services team (ext. 2680) to request assistance or create a Track-IT ticket.  They will provide a quote for repair.

Q:  Can I repair the Chromebook myself?
A:  Only certified/trained technicians may complete the repair once authorized by the Technology Services team.  This is to insure the safety of MPS employees and students AND to preserve the integrity of the contracts negotiated by the bargaining groups in the District.

Q:  What happens if a Chromebook is stolen or missing at school?
A:  Please notify your principal and the Technology Services team (ext. 2680) AND create a Track-IT ticket.  They will guide you in next steps.

Q:  What happens if a Chromebook is missing or stolen at home or away from school?
A:  Please notify the police and file a police report.  Notify your principal AND the Technology Services team and provide them with a copy of the police report.  They will guide you in next steps.
