Angels in America

Angels in America, the 1993 Pulitzer Prize winning drama is a "Gay Fantasia on National Themes" and examines a period of American history (New York City, the 1980s, and the rising AIDS epidemic within the Gay community at that time).

Nearly 25 years ago, Angels in America first took the stage in San Francisco. Since then it has premiered in Broadway, turned into an opera and an HBO miniseries. The playwright, Tony Kushner, sat down with National Public Radio for an interview to discuss his Pulitzer Prize winning play
