Warriors Takes Early Lead In Victory Over Laurel

An early lead helped Warriors defeat Laurel 8-5 on Thursday. Warriors scored on a walk by Brady Harman, a walk by Marc Conti, a single by Jordan Mollenkopf, and an error in the second inning.

Harman earned the win for Warriors. The pitcher surrendered four runs on four hits over three innings, striking out one. Ethan Hare and J.C. Voss entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Voss recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Warriors.

Hunter Kobialka took the loss for Laurel. Kobialka went one and one-third innings, allowing four runs on zero hits.

Warriors launched one home run on the day. Voss had a four bagger in the fifth inning.

Voss went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Warriors in hits.

Justin Fell led Laurel with two hits in three at bats.
