Warriors Can't Catch Up To Valley

Warriors fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 5-1 loss to Valley on Thursday. Valley scored on a single by Evan Henry and a single by Shane Demharter in the first inning.

Valley got on the board in the first inning when Henry singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

A single by Jordan Mollenkopf in the third inning was a positive for Warriors.

John Luke Bailey was the winning pitcher for Valley. The hurler allowed six hits and zero runs over six and a third innings, striking out eight. Demharter threw two-thirds of an inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Cooper Vance took the loss for Warriors. Vance surrendered five runs on ten hits over six innings, striking out eight.

Marc Conti went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Warriors in hits, and scoring the lone run for the Warriors.

Valley totaled ten hits in the game. Bailey, Henry, Justin Hooper, and Cayden Quinn all managed multiple hits for Valley. Valley didn't commit a single error in the field. Henry had nine chances in the field, the most on the team.
