Senior Awareness Day

RESCHEDULED FROM MAY 25th: Senior citizens are invited to stop by the Modesto Library to learn about resources that are available to them. Representatives from organizations/programs including HICAP, Howard Training Center, and others will be on hand to answer questions and help with enrollment into programs. Help the Ribbles build a new home for a better world by playing interactive games and discovering basic building techniques. Saturday Stories and Art: The Night Sky

Join us on the Modesto Library portico for our series of free art programs for the family! Each "Saturday Stories and Art" program will feature a picture book and a related art project. Participants will use a variety of mediums and techniques to explore an art concept, creating their own pieces to take home.

This Saturday's program will feature Lenny Hort's book, How Many Stars in the Sky? Following the reading, all ages can make their own night sky creations using a variety of tools and paint. The MoSt Summer Poetry Workshops - Making a Poem: The Beauty of Form
