draft documents of MITCH Charter School's strategic plan for 2015-2020 have been posted for your review and input. We will be having a series of focus groups to solicit input and to share our timeline and goals to advance MITCH towards becoming the best-in-class education choice for your children. Please contact the school or any board member if you have questions or wish to make suggestions.
Doing a lot of research on funding for MITCH and TTSD. Lots of numbers are boring to me, and most everybody else. However, some interesting pieces of info - here's TTSD's adopted budget: http://www.ttsdschools.org/files/_2PEXg_/2a973d6240e4031b3745a49013852ec4/Adopted_Budget_2014-15.pdf I'll work to distill this down into a more visual way, so we can clearly see the differences in funding between the 2 entities. As a charter school, we're already behind in funding due to Oregon state law. The only way to fix this is multi-pronged... 1) change minds/hearts at the TTSD level, 2) change hearts/minds at the state level and 3) change hearts/minds at the federal level.
