  • Solve real-world and mathematical problems involving the area and surface area of two- and three-dimensional shapes composed of triangles, quadrilaterals, polygons, cubes, and right prisms. (7.G.6)

  • Use nets to find the surface area of a figure. (6.G.A.4)

  • Apply the formulas V= lwh and V=bh to find the volume of right rectangular prism with fractional lengths in the context of solving real-world and mathematical problems.(6.G.A.2)

  • Recognize or recall the formulas for surface area and area of two and three dimensional figures (7.G.6)

  • Recognize or recall the formulas for volume of cubes and right prisms (7.G.6)

  • Represent three-dimensional figures using nets made up of rectangles and triangles. (6.G.A.4)

  • Find the volume of a right rectangular prism by packing it with cubes of the appropriate fractional length. (6.G.A.2)
