      Milton has a long storied baseball tradition.  MRec has many options to chose from for all ages and levels of play!!!

ALL GRADES LEVELS ARE CURRENT GRADES

                                                                                            P-K through 2nd Grade Options:
       Little Hitter Games are played on Monday / Wednesday
Grades PK-K (Must be 4) :  Little Hitters:   This is the starting point for your athlete.  Little hitters is a t-ball only league.  Games are co-ed and fun is the emphasis with players starting to learn fundamentals cost $55
 
 Big Hitter Games are played on Tuesday / Thursday
Grades 1-2: Big Hitters: The second step in your athletes baseball softball journey.  Bigger Hitters is a coaches pitch league with a emphasis on learning to continue fundamentals .  Games are co-ed.

  Pitching Machine League Games are played on Tuesday / Thursday
Grades 2 Pitching machine League:This is a new level of play for MRec. This league is designed to help players make the challenging transition from coach-pitched games to player-pitched games with the use of a pitching machine. Game will be played in Milton. The game rules at this level are a combination of rules used in Junior League and Big Hitters. This league has an emphasis on developing basic game fundamental techniques in the infield / outfield.  Players also must develop a comfort level with batting against a pitching machine.  All second grade players who can demonstrate proper technique throwing and catching a ball but do not want the travel portion to surrounding communicates  should play at this level. Games are co-ed.
Cost $55 
 Minor League Games are played on Tuesday / Thursday
Grade 2 Minor League:  This is a new level of play for MRec. This league is designed to help players make the challenging transition from coach-pitched games to player-pitched games.  We do play games in different towns (Fort Atkinson and Whitewater) at this level.  The game rules at this level are a combination of rules used in Junior League and Big Hitters (and include, for instance, a limited amount of walks per inning to keep games moving while still developing young pitchers).   This league has an emphasis on developing pitchers and basic game fundamental techniques in the infield / outfield.  Players also must develop a comfort level with batting against player pitching.  All second grade players who can demonstrate proper technique throwing and catching a ball should play at this level.  Parents who do not feel their child is prepared for this level would want to sign up for the pitching machine league. Games are co-ed.
This league will depend on how many participants we have in it.

Boys Baseball Overview For The FM Baseball League:
MRec is a part of the FM Baseball League. The FM Baseball League is comprised of teams from Fort Atkinson and Milton  rec league that join  together for a baseball only league. MRec has been apart of the FM Baseball League since 2013. FM Baseball league is for age levels of 3rd grade through 9th grade.  This leagues was set up to help the participating communities establish a level of play that is greater than just having our own league here in Milton. This league has done just that and we believe that this league will do nothing but continue to grow. Listed below are the options for the FM baseball league.


3rd & 4th Grade Options:
Games are played on Monday/Wednesday & some Saturdays

Boys Junior League Baseball: MRec Junior League Baseball  is the next step in your athlete’s advancement in the game of baseball.  Having fun is still the main priority for this league, with more emphasis on skill development.  Your child will have fun and learn the game of baseball. This league will have games with Fort Atkinson. Start of season will be Saturday May 20th with all games being played in Fort Atkinson on that day. Games will be played Monday and Wednesday evenings in Fort Atkinson and Milton.

5th & 6th Grade Options:
Games are played on Monday/Wednesday & some Saturdays


Boys Little League Baseball: While receiving more skill instruction, fun and enjoying the great game of baseball is still stressed.  Your athlete will receive more position specific instruction and learn to be a better ball player. This league will have games with Fort Atkinson. Start of season will be Saturday May 20th with all games being played in Fort Atkinson on that day. Games will be played Monday and Wednesday evenings in Fort Atkinson and Milton.

7th, 8th & 9th Grade Options:
Games are played on Monday/Wednesday & some Saturdays

Boys Pony league:  Time to take the next step.  Pony League offers a larger field and a bigger chance to compete.  Coaches still focus on making the game fun, but also work on core fundamentals.  Games are Mondays and Wednesdays with some Saturdays. Games are hosted in Milton parks, and travel about 30% to the time to local communities. (Fort Atkinson  and Whitewater)

9th & 10th Grade Options:

Junior Varsity Summer Baseball:   Time to play with the big boys! Junior legion baseball is a fun competitive summer team.  Perfect for    high school athletes to either try something new or hone the skill they need to be successful

Varsity Summer Baseball:  The final stop is Varsity Summer Baseball. Varsity Summer Baseball is a great way for baseball enthusiastic to stay active in the sport while not in school.
