Originally from Canada, Jonathan Richard migrated from Toronto to Brooklyn six years ago to teach science. He earned an Honours B.Sc. from Mount Allison University and B.Ed from UMPI. At Mt. Allison, Mr. Richard completed a year-long research project studying estuarine ecology as well as a thesis exploring the history and philosophy of science. He has banded birds, completed tree surveys, and caught various marine critters in multiple provinces and states all in the name of science. When not obsessing over the chemistry of pigments and the history of nuclear bombs, he likes to play guitar and write and record music in his home studio.
And, it's pronounced Ree-shore (like a beach shore). Blame my French Acadian ancestry.
