Welcome to the Milford School Kapa Haka page.

Our group gathers together once a week for 45 minutes to learn about many aspects of Māori traditions, culture and language through song and dance. Traditional greeting and action songs are learned along with a school haka.

Our group is made up of over 100 students from Years 4-6. Being in the group takes commitment and we are practicing really hard every week to prepare for the Onepoto Cultural festival and other performance opportunities in the community.
