Call for Poster Presentations

Submission Deadline: June 30th
(no longer accepting submissions)

We are inviting submissions for sharing your PBIS implementation experiences through a Poster Presentation at the 2017 National PBIS Leadership Forum, “PBIS: Starting, Scaling, & Sustaining.” The poster presentations will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Thursday, September 28th.

Goal:
Poster presentations provide a fun and informal opportunity to share detailed examples of what you have done and learned implementing PBIS in your district/state and to generate one-to-one discussion about how PBIS is actually working.  Poster presentations may address a range of topics along the SW PBIS continuum of universal, tier II and tier III interventions, including outcomes, variations, experiences, successes/challenges.

Format:

A 36” X 48” a tri-fold foam presentation board will be provided for each presentation. Please bring material to attach to the poster space (for example, strategies, implementation highlights, sample data), and any handouts you wish to provide.  If requested in advance, power will be available for you to run your laptop or LCD.  Our hope is to keep this simple, fun, and informative.

Requirements:

  • Describe specific practices or implementation procedures used in your state/district.
  • Include data documenting implementation and/or impact on children.
  • Please plan to have at least one poster presenter available for the full two-hour session.
  • Handouts are strongly recommended and are the responsibility of the poster presenter.
  • Poster presenters must register for the forum.

Submissions:

  • Proposal Submission Deadline: June 30, 2017
  • Notification Date: July 6, 2017

Interested poster presenters should complete the online form below. The committee intends to accept as many poster presentations as possible; however all poster proposals will be reviewed for fit with the forum audience and quality.  Preference will be given to posters that emphasize strategies, processes, and outcomes that relate to enhancing systems level implementation of School-wide PBIS at the universal, tier II and/or tier III intervention tiers. Submissions received after the deadline will be reviewed as space permits.  Accepted poster presenters will be notified via email.
