MMS Bulletin for October 6th, 2017

Bus Stops: Hidden Valley Road and Spyglass are now riding the Yellow Bus

Girls Volleyball: Practice for 7th Grade is cancelled TODAY. 8th Grade will still practice TODAY @ 2:45-4:15.

Attention all volleyball players: Please turn in your Sports Operation Donations into Mr. Dean as soon as possible.


Middletown Rodeo:  The District 2 rodeo kids have a rodeo in Middletown on Oct. 14-15 @ 9AM. Come out and support your classmates!


Intramurals: Congratulations 8th Grade Girls Team! Next, 4th Period vs. 5th Period Tuesday (10/10)!


HOMECOMING NIGHT RALLY: Monday Night (10/9) @ 7PM in the Tallman Gym. MMS students should be accompanied by an adult.


New Minimum Day: Wednesday, October 25th we will have a minimum day for the students and Parent-Teacher conferences in the afternoon. To schedule an appointment slot, please call the MMS office at (707) 987-4160.


Hey MMS students! TODAY

Would you like to be a part of the Bronco Pride Scavenger Hunt??? This fun noon time activity will take place on Friday the 6th of October! This enjoyable Scavenger Hunt will send you all around the MMS campus completing bewildering riddles, collecting signatures, and tricky obstacles. We will be signing up groups of 5 students in the library at lunch each day. The winning team will receive an amazing prize. Please assemble your teams and come see Alex in the library at lunch. Let’s make this Scavenger Hunt one for the books!


There is a box of lost and found of student’s jackets and other items. Please check this box in the MMS office before December when it gets donated to Good Will.

There is a longboard that was found on campus last Friday night. Please go to the MMS Office for more information.

Money for Schools Fundraiser by Copperfield Books: November 10th-11th. Copperfield’s will donate 20% of all purchases by anyone who mentions that they are shopping for your school! Club Meets on Tuesday: Anime/ Yu-Gi-Oh/ Chess – Bring your lunch, come on in to Room 3 (Ms. Cascio’s Room)

Bible Club Meets every Thursday during lunch in Mrs. Ebert’s classroom (Room 8). You can bring your own Bible if you want, and there will be Bibles there for students to use.


Students must be accompanied by an adult when attending high school football games.


My Future, My Way Workshop: For students in grades 7-12 come explore college and careers, such as Chemistry, Construction, Culinary, EMT/1st Responder, Music, and Poetry/Creative Writing! Saturday, October 14, 2017. This is a FREE workshop provided by the Lake County Office of Education. For more information, please contact Karin Stirling-Rooney in the MMS Office.


ANNUAL VOLUNTEER FINGERPRINT DAY: October 28th from 9-12 pm. in the Middletown multi-use room. You must have a copy of your TB test and completed volunteer packet in order to be fingerprinted. You can pick up the volunteer packet at either the school site or the district office. Any questions please email janel.woodruff@middletownusd.org.


Spirit of the Season Registration: Any and all families in need of a holiday food basket or gifts for young children are asked to register at the Middletown United Methodist Church on Armstrong St. on 10/24-10/26 from 5-7:30PM. Please bring the wish list with you. If you have never participated in SOS, bring proof of residence and income.
