~ Senior Information ~

Attention Seniors and your parents: Letters have been mailed home with Diploma name information. Please look for this letter and advise Julie @ julie.woodard@middletownusd.org if you have a correction or change request. This request must be in writing no later than Jan. 24th

Prices for the Senior Yearbook Dedication page have dropped! Pick up a new price sheet from the office. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Marasca @ 987-4140, ext # 4007

Senior Graduation Disneyland Trip 2020 Payment #2 is due Monday, Jan 13th. If you have not made your first payment of $125, you will not be able to attend! Thank You!


~ Student Information ~

***Less than one month to go to purchase your Hawaii Raffle tickets to support Sober Grad for the Class of 2020. Tickets are $100.00 and can be purchased online @ www.mhsgradnight.org Please support the Class of 2020! We would love to send someone from our school to Hawaii with a $5000.00 travel voucher! Drawing is February 7th at the Girl's Basketball game!

*** Attention FFA Members: There will be an informational lunch meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 22 to talk about State Conference and Donkey Basketball. Please plan to attend. There will also be a Parent meeting. Time will be announced.

***Hey AG Juniors and Seniors: State FFA Degree applications are due! Come talk to Mrs. Pachie if you think you are eligible. We can work after school or on Monday to get them done. Applications are due on January 29th!

***Mustangs! It is time to start planning for this year's Relay for Life! I am looking for my core group of student leaders - people who are ready to do the work to make this the best Relay ever! Please check in with Mrs. Macedo in room #4 today!

***University of Technical Institute will be on campus this Friday @ lunch. If you are interested in going to school there, come out to lunch and meet Robert.

*** Mrs. Jones is taking a bus full of MHS students to the Colusa Farm show on Wed., Feb. 5th. It is an all day trip, 8:00 am - 3:00 pm. See all of the latest in equipment and technology. Pick up your forms and get them filled out and returned ASAP. A $10.oo deposit will reserve your spot. Admission is free.

***** Join the Mustang Golf Team

Anyone interested in playing golf and representing Middletown High School golf team can meet and greet with Head Varsity coach Richard Pritchard on Jan. 28th at lunch in the cafeteria. Spring sports clearance will be in the evening on Feb. 4th from 4-5:30pm and all must be cleared by that date to participate. Practices will be Monday through Thursday after school unless matches are being played. Please come sign up or email coach at: golf@middletownusd.org Hope to see you all on Tuesday the 28th at lunch.

****Spring Lunch Off Campus approval forms are in the office. If you are a Junior or a Senior with all 40 of your community service hours done, had a 3.0 GPA at the semester grading period and have a good behavior/attendance record ... then you may apply! Forms are due back to the office next Tuesday, Jan. 21.

***Open Field has started for all those who are interested in Baseball... Mondays and Wednesdays after school @ 3:30

***Students who do not have a Parking Permit….. please see Julie in the office at Brunch or Lunch. You will need to show your Driver’s License, Registration and Insurance card. Thank you.

*Snowcoming Events*

Snowcoming Dress Up Days are as follows:

Today: Jersey Day Friday: Mustang Madness

Snowcoming Dance is Saturday, January 18th from 8:30 pm - 10:30 pm in the Tallman Gym.

This is a Semi - formal event. Dance Tickets are on sale during Brunch and Lunch in the Library

through Thursday. Next opportunity will be at the door for $15.00 Those who requested approval

of a GUEST, your guest is approved and you may purchase those tickets.

SPRING SPORTS CLEARANCE NIGHT!

Tuesday, Feb. 4th from 4:00 - 5:30 pm in the MHS Library. If you have not completed the NEW Sports Packet online, and have your physical form complete, then you must do this prior to being eligible to practice/ play. Go to the MHS website and click on Athletics..... if you have any questions, please ask in the office to Mr. Guerrero. ~ Thank you.

Community Service opportunity!

Friends of Bogg Mountain will need student help in rebuilding the damaged trails... Sign up in the office and you will be called. First date is this Saturday, Jan 18 with future dates to follow.

Minnie Cannon Elem is looking for student help for their Family Science Night on Thursday, Jan 30th. Please sign up in the office for this event.

Lake County Jazzercise is looking for a responsible MHS teen or two to watch young children during classes at the Jazzercise Center in Middletown, on Wednesdays from 4:15 - 5:45. Text or call Beth @ 707-326-1291 to sign up or for additional information.

The Interact Club is looking for students to join them in helping the Middletown Rotary Club put on their annual Gala on Saturday, 1/25. Help is needed from 4:30 - 8:00 pm. Dinner is provided. To sign up, see Mrs. Macedo in room #4. There will be a meeting on 1/21 regarding this event.
