MIAD provides reasonable and appropriate accommodations for students with documented disabilities. Accommodations are determined on an individual basis.

Students with a disability, whether physical, learning, sensory, or psychological, are encouraged to contact the MIAD’s Student Accessibility Coordinator, Sara Thor. Sara’s office is located in the Library and Learning Resource Center, in Room RL-100B. Students must meet with the Accessibility Coordinator before they can obtain accommodations for their disability.

Students are encouraged to notify the Student Accessibility Coordinator in a timely manner so that appropriate accommodations can be provided. MIAD considers June 1 as a reasonable date for receipt of documentation of a disability for fall semester enrollees and November 1 for spring semester enrollees.
