This half term our topic is:

Down on the Farm

In writing we will learn about Recounts using the book 'Farmer Duck' by Martin Wadell. We will also learn about Fantasy Stories reading the book 'The Dragon Machine' by Helen Ward.

In Geography We will learn about what farms are and why they are important, explore the features of a farm, use maps and symbols, explore how seasons affect farm life and learn about differences of life on a farm and in the town.

In Science we will learn about Growing Things, understand what gardens are, what types of things grow and plant potatoes and beans.

In ICT we will learn how to use Scratch Junior using instructions to execute a program.

Running up to Easter we will learn about the Story of Easter in RE.

In PE, we will be focusing on Dance and Team Games. PE days are now a Monday and Thursday.
