If your intent is to receive institutional credit or a certificate of completion, participants MUST reside in Alaska, receive prior approval from the course instructor. As mentioned, this course can be taken for one (1) hour of institutional credit through the University of Alaska systems (i.e., 500 level or 200 level). If your intention is to take the course for institution credit, you must enroll with the University of Alaska (UA) system, pay the required tuition, and follow the UA system campus enrollment procedures.

This training platform powered by Google Apps for Education and was developed by the Special Education Service Agency (SESA) of Alaska. Some of the content and time required to develop this platform was originally funded through a 2009 School Mental Health Integration Grant (CFDA 84.215M). Each module contains slideshows/videos and reflective activities. You must always provide your email, name, organizational
affiliation (if any), and then click ENTER to enable the SlideRocket presenter
to begin. When you see the video or slide, click the PLAY button.
Depending on your bandwidth, you may have to wait a few seconds for video
to start. Go through the presentation in its entirety whether it be
reviewing slides, text or a video. On many of the webpages there will be
a related reflective activity for the presentation just viewed. The first two E-modules have multiple
reflective activities. If you are fulfilling all the necessary
requirements to receive institutional credit, you will again need to
provide your email, name, organization affiliation and provide a
response to the activity on the Google Docs Form. In order to receive credit for completion, participants must always click the SUBMIT button after completing the reflective question.
