This web page provides college math professors and high school math teachers with ready-to-use projects that you can assign to your students to engage them with the life and work of famous mathematicians. For each project, we provide the project assignment, a score sheet that you can use to grade the assignment, and examples of graded student work.
Projects can be downloaded and used at no cost; permissions for use are not required.
If you use one of these projects, we would be pleased to receive and post samples of your students’ work, your comments or suggestions for others professors and teachers, or a version of the assignment that you modified and found useful for your students.
We also welcome additional project ideas. Some projects are under development.
