Dear Parents & Students

I would like to take a moment to introduce myself.  My name is Krett Kujat I was a Junior High teacher for 16 years, and served as Athletic Director, Athletic Supervisor, Varsity Softball Coach, JV Softball Coach, JH Football Coach, MEA President, and for the previous four years, Assistant Principal in the Junior/Senior High.  On November 3rd, 2012 was married to my spectacular wife Kelley (High School Chemistry teacher), and welcomed our wonderful daughter Ashlyn into the world on August 26, 2013.  I have two Associate Degrees from Macomb Community College, a Bachelor of Science Degree from Western Michigan University with certifications in Elementary and Junior High Education, specializing in math, science, and language arts.  I also have a Master in the Art of Education from Marygrove College, as well as a Masters in Educational Leadership from Saginaw Valley State University.  I began my teaching career in L'Anse Creuse Public Schools and came to Memphis Junior High in 1997, and can't imagine being anywhere else.  Over the years I have taught Life Science, Physical Science, Algebra, 7th & 8th grade Language Arts, Physical Education, and Life Skills.  As you can see I take education seriously, believe in being a life long learner, and believe that your child will be successful here.  I have been grateful for all of the opportunities that I have had in Memphis and look forward to many more in the future.  I take great pride in being a Yellowjacket at Memphis Community Schools and hope that you and your child do also!  If at any time you have any questions or are looking for assistance please don't hesitate to contact me.
