Description: Course Prerequisites: Successful completion of Integrated Science II.  Graduation Requirements Met:  This semester long course is an elective science course that fulfills one of the 3 science credits required for graduation.  Course Description:  This course is designed to help students prepared for advanced study of marine biology in upper level high school classes or in college.  Course goals are to: learn and apply the scientific method, learn and apply information about salmonids, learn and apply the design and engineering process to marine biology, understand and apply information about the physical properties of the ocean, understand and apply information about marine invertebrates, marine invertebrates and ecology.  Grading will be based on tests, classwork and projects and experiments and write-ups.
