Class Name: Computer Aided Drafting

Description: Course Prerequisites: Computer 1  Graduation Requirements Met:  This semester long course is an Elective for all students and fulfills one of the two technology credits required for graduation  Course Description:  Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) is an advanced computer class.  Students in CAD will learn to use modeling software to create real and invented structures, surfaces, and objects.  Students will learn to model in 2D and 3D.  Students will make observations and measurements outside of the classroom and learn to accurately model real-world objects on the computer.  Mt. Edgecumbe High School uses Autodesks AutoCAD 2011 software.
