Course Description:
Students will gain technology literacy that covers basic computer concepts, applications, and the Internet including e-mail, documents/formatting, spreadsheet, communicating ideas, web searches, and collaboration. The students will also select and apply technology tools for research, information analysis, problem solving, and decision making in content learning. This course is a pre-requisite for technology classes.

Daily Work: Time will be given in class to complete daily work, essential questions, journals, and projects. If absent, you are responsible to make up the work that was missed. Daily work counts 60% of grade.
Assessments: Assessments may be announced or unannounced and will be given periodically. If you are absent the day of an assessment, you are responsible for making arrangements with me. Assessments count 40% of grade.
Semester Final: There will be a semester test that counts 15% of final grade.
