Two Rosco I-Cue Intelligent Mirrors Added to Higgins-Demas Theater Rep Plot

MDI Drama is pleased to offer the use of two Rosco I-Cue Intelligent mirror units in our light plot. The I-Cues are attached to two ETC 26-degree Source Fours mounted on the front catwalk. The units offer movable down-lighting specials as well as  independent upstage areas.  As with anytime there is an improvement very often there is detraction. Unfortunately, to add the controls for the I-Cues and keep all our dimmer spaces for specials, we had to reconfigure our ETC 48/96 Controller from 48 channel two-scene preset controller to a straight 96 channel controller. If you do not intend to use the I-Cues and must have a two-scene preset, we can reconfigure the controller for your show before your five-minute set up. We intend to keep the board as a straight 96 channel controller for the festival if possible.

A demonstration will be given at the general meeting at 11:00 am on Tech Day, and all visiting schools are invited to try the units even if they don’t intend to use them in their shows. Any other questions, please contact MDI Drama tech director Grey Burkart at td_lightsound@mdidrama.org.
