Here are some examples of how critique takes student work and pushes it further. Critiques are great ways for students to learn subject matter, improve the quality of their work, and build a positive classroom culture.
Critiques must be three things:
- BE KIND
-BE HELPFUL -BE SPECIFIC
These students went through multiple critiques of their elemental superhero. The first critique was about incorporating the characteristics of the element. Students then made modifications for draft two. Fellow students finally critiqued the drawing for visual appeal. The final drawing is the third draft.
