WOLVERINE DASH - FALL 2017
West Middleton's inaugural Wolverine Dash will be held Friday, October 20, 2017. The WM PTO is 
thrilled to have J.H. Findorff & Son Inc as a gold level sponsor, a
s well as Klaas Financial and Swim West as silver sponsors!  
And the recent addition of the 
State Bank of Cross Plains with a generous bronze sponsorship!  
Thanks so much for your support of West Middleton Elementary School and your local community.   
 

Your West Middleton PTO and Wolverine Dash committee has been working hard over the past 6 months to plan the Wolverine Dash.  This fun run is a school-wide walk/run designed to be the only fundraiser of the school year.  Students will be collecting pledges for each lap they run. There will be prizes awarded for the top fundraisers, lap runners and classrooms. During their run, your students will enjoy a DJ spinning the latest elementary kid approved tunes and a healthy snack station.  The Wolverine Dash will not only raise funds for our school but establish a sense of school pride and promote healthy and active lifestyle choices.

We are asking for you to consider helping us offset the cost of the Wolverine Dash through a $100 Family Sponsorship.  As a way to publicly acknowledge your support, your family name will be included on all event communications and on a sponsor board at the event (if you do not wish to be recognized, please let Jen know at jklynn3@yahoo.com).

We are very excited about the Wolverine Dash because your funds will go directly towards helping our students and classrooms.  Funds raised from this event will be used to improve our classrooms by providing them with flexible/alternative seating options during the 2017/2018 school year.  Several West Middleton classrooms have implemented flexible seating on a smaller scale with huge success. Students are able to have a choice in where and how they learn, and are given the option of movement.  Our financial goal of $40,000 will provide each of our 30 classrooms with the following:

  • 2 Hokki Stools - $125 each
  • 4 Wiggle Seats - $25 each
  • 4 Balance Balls - $25 each
  • 4 Marius Stools - $5 each
  • 4 Crazy Creek Camping Chairs - $28 each
  • 1 Zuma Rocker Chair - $117 each 
  • 2 Standing Desks- $300 each
