TEAM-E
Science incorporates the essential and interwoven components of excellence in Teaching, an emphasis on inquiry and Experimentations, And the important benefits of engineers, scientists and university faculty Mentoring with attention to the improvement of Engineering through quality standards-based Science lessons.  Beginning on June 22, 2015, and over the course of the next three years, 60 teachers and approximately 1800 students in grades 3-8 in Merced and Mariposa counties will experience engaging engineering activities lead by teachers trained through the professional development initiatives outlined in the TEAM-E Science proposal.  From these experiences, Teachers will design the units of activities that will demonstrate the interconnectedness of science, engineering, and technology, and how together they influence society and the natural world.  These activities will be housed on the Teach Engineering website adding to the collection of activities available to all educators globally that are aligned to the Next Generation Science Standards.

TEAM-E Science activities are coordinated through the Merced County Office of Education and is funded by a California Math and Science Partnership Grant through the California Department of Education.
