Since 2011-12, McFarland has been using 1:1 devices to engage our students in cutting-edge, high-quality learning opportunities. Over the years, our philosophies on best practices using the technology may have changed, our core beliefs have remained true. We believe that good instruction will have a great impact on student success. The use of devices is only a tool to help our teachers reach every student, and help them reach their potential.
In the year 2016-17, grades 2-8 will be 1:1 iPads, where each student is given an iPad to help them reach their personal learning goals. Plans for future rollouts will be made public soon. Use this website as a guide to our program and discover ways to help your own child be successful.
This site is always under construction, and updated.
