On Friday, you have an option of going on the Nostalgia Tour which returns around the time of the bazaar or staying on campus for different sessions. Lunch and dinner will be at your own expense this day.

8am          Taichung Nostalgia Tour: Take a tour to a few nostalgic stops with Doug Habecker ('85) leading the way. The tour will stop at the old Morrison site, the Big Buddha, the train station and downtown area, the Taichung park and the Confucius temple. At the end the tour will be stopping for lunch at a Taiwan Nostalgia restaurant called  Banana Paradise Restaurant (pictured on the right). Lunch is at your own expense.    http://www.vernaldew.com.tw/ (Chinese only website)

Morning    Chinese Cooking classes, Chinese Arts and Crafts

2pm          Third Culture Kid Seminar. One of the worlds leading experts of Third Culture kids and transition, Libby Stephens will be giving a presentation. Libby comes to Taiwan every spring to do our senior transition retreat. She is a very dynamic and accomplished speaker. She is also available throughout the reunion for consultations and appointments, if desired.  

5pm           Bazaar on the plaza. There will be Chinese food booths and crafts set up all over the plaza. There will also be some Chinese performances like the lion dance and puppets etc. Some handicrafts will be available for sale as well as many traditional Taiwan candy makers.  This will be a fun evening of Taiwan foods, snacks and entertainment.  Food, snacks and crafts will be at your own expense. 

8pm           Alumni Games: Volleyball and Soccer 

8-11pm      Bus to Feng Jia Night Market: This is one of the most packed night markets in Taichung. Busses will leave campus at 8 and leave the market at 11pm.
