NEW ANNOUNCEMENT:

Community Swim Meet -
Thank you to all who made the time and effort to come and cheer on friends and classmates at the 13th Annual Community Swim Meet on Monday afternoon.  More than 300 people came to participate in either swimming or cheering at the pool.

A special thank you to Coach Roloff and the Varsity Boys' Soccer team for coming to help in multiple ways - moving bleachers for the parents, timing behind each of the lanes, pushing the buttons for the electronic timing system, and bringing swimmers from the bullpen to the starting blocks. This was a huge help and encouragement to the team and to the Morrison Community.

In the midst of many, many swims - and many people in the water over the course of 2 1/2 hours, the following HS students had great swims and earned places on the Morrison All-Time Top Ten Records:

100m Freestyle: Rose Chuang, Vanita Shih, and Mitchell Lee
50m Breaststroke: Elyse Chen, Charlie Wu (new school record), and Hogan Lee

Games for the Week of September 10-15, 2018 -

The JV Boys' soccer team won 8 - 1 this afternoon over Hsieh Ho 6th.  The game started off slowly as the teams settled into the game. Early in the first half Hsieh Ho 6th and the Mustangs traded chances on goal.  Around the 15th minute Tim Chen opened the scoring for the Mustangs with a well placed lob over the opposing keeper's head. The second, a powerful close range shot, also came from Tim.  The remaining goals came from Ratu Ratu (2 goals), Caden Waldeck, Zachary Lin, Max Freeman, and Jamison Shih. The offense looked great, but the coaches were also very proud of the improvement they saw today on team defense.  Eric Chang, Brian Chang, Jonathan Hsu, Colton Bradburn, Max Freeman, Josiah Her, and Micah Schmidt all rotated keeping the back line strong. Silas Kyun and Nathan Fusca shared goalkeeping responsibilities. Each keeper played very well.  The team would like to say a huge thank you to all who were able to come out and support the guys this afternoon.
