    NEW ANNOUNCEMENT

New Student Center Hours
Students that need a place to study after school can use the student center each day until 6:00PM.  We are happy to provide students with this workspace and expect that you will use it productively and treat the area with respect. Please stay downstairs, keep trash picked up, and follow student handbook for behavior. We are trying this for now and plan to continue it as long as students honor the rules. Teachers will be in and out so we are trusting students will do what's expected. We do have cameras around if we need to use them for any reason but I don't anticipate we will.  Let Mrs. Bradburn know if you need access to a TV to practice presentations via Chromecast and we can switch access to one of them.

Thanks to the several students that gave me input on having a place to collaborate and do homework after school hours.

Mr. Bradburn

JV Girls’ Basketball

Our JV girls’ basketball team got their second win of the season this afternoon, this time over Ivy. The Lady Mustangs showed their growth as individual and team players in a sizable 42:18 victory. Ball movement, patience, and sheer tenacity would describe their promising performance well.

As a team, they had amazing quadruple doubles — double digits in points (42), steals (25), rebounds (37), and assists (10). What teamwork! Yes, the playing performances of these young ladies hardly resembles those of their first days of practice.

Additionally, nearly every player scored and three in particular — Gloria, Kealyn, and Chloe — made it into double digits themselves.

We’re proud of each of the Lady Mustangs!

BTW The encouragement and cheers of parents and friends is much appreciated. Come out to see them play this Saturday!

Verse of the day:

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God,  not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.  Ephesians 2:8-10

Even in the aftermath of a loss, the girls remain optimistic and all smiles as they shift their focus to working hard in preparation for their upcoming games this week.

Some key stats include Chloe with 14 pts and 7 rebounds, Gloria with 4 points, and Kealyn 5 rebounds. Go Mustangs!
