For the last several years, I've been collecting podcasts and books that I felt helped men understand the motivations, thoughts and needs of women and vise versa. I've learned that much of the pain and hurt people experience in relationships with the opposite sex is directly related to not understanding the differences God designed into men and women.
I just found a similar site ( #staymarried) working to prevent divorce. Check it out!
Recommended Marriage Conferences (also on DVD)
Dr. Emerson Eggerichs has some of the most helpful content of anyone out there. Love and Respect is available as weekend conference, weekend/14 session DVD study, Download for computer/iPod or the book. There are lots of different sets and options available at the online store. This is one of those things that I wish was available when we got married. If I had to pick one, this is it.

Mark Gungor will have you laughing and learning in his video marriage series entitled, "Laugh Your Way to a Better Marriage". |
FamilyLife has several weekend conferences and home Bible studies so you can go back and get more material several times. This one has a lot of great material but you really need to schedule time to process it after the weekend conference. The website has lots of online resources including articles, media, small group studies and more.

A Glen Eyrie Marriage GetAway is not an intensive time filled with meetings and it is not a time for counseling. It is exactly what it claims to be: a time away with the one you love in a romantic setting unlike any other. You’ll be treated like royalty at the century-old Glen Eyrie Castle, tucked away on 800 gorgeous acres.
ABOVE: The Castle at Glen Eyrie
Left: The room we had for the conference. It was a wonderful weekend!
