Host an International Student: The Chance of a Lifetime for You and your Family!!
Educatius International is looking for Host Families in Maynard. Join your neighbors and share your wonderful community by welcoming an international student into your home. The students will be attending Maynard High School.
Educatius is seeking host families that will open their heart and home to an international student. Host families are to provide a loving, warm, and supportive family environment. Students should become part of your family.
Educatius offers a monthly stipend of $700.00 for each student and each family can host up to 2 students. This can be a positive and rewarding experience for everyone in your home. Hosting a student can provide you with amazing opportunities and lifelong friendships.

2014/2015 Bus Registration
The School Committee voted at the May 1st meeting to increase bus fees to $260 for the 1st child and $215 for the 2nd and beyond. Registration will be on May 19th. Forms will be available in school offices and on our website on May 16th under “Documents to Download”. No registrations will be accepted before May 19th. The 2014-2015 Program of Studies is now available.
Maynard High School was one of only 48 schools across the Commonwealth recognized by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education as a 2013 Commendation School for its high achievement, high progress, and narrowing proficiency gaps. This is an extremely high honor, and could not have been made possible without the entire school community.
Author Julie Berry Visits MHS Students
On Thursday September 26th, author Julie Berry visited MHS to speak with students about her new book, All The Truth That's In Me. She also ran a writing workshop for students interested in pursuing creative writing as a career path.
