Apply for Free or Reduced School Lunch
If your student qualified for free or reduced meals last year, and you do not receive a letter from the state informing you of your lunch status,
you must fill out a Free/Reduced Lunch Application before October 1, 2016
to qualify for free or reduced lunch for the current school year.
Apply online now, it is quicker and easier than the traditional paper application.

If you are not able to apply online, paper applications are available in the school offices.
Applications are available in English, Spanish or Portuguese.
Families may submit a new application at any time during the school year if their circumstances change.
Please note: Not all items available to students in the cafeteria are included in the price of a meal. You may be responsible for additional charges, even if you student qualifies for Free or Reduced lunch. See the link to Cafeteria Pricing at the top for more details.
Parents and Guardians may send in payment as often as they wish for their student's cafeteria account to Green Meadow, Fowler, or Maynard High School.
Checks should be made out to Maynard Food Service with the student(s) name written in the check memo.
Parents and Guardians can monitor cafeteria transactions (payments and purchases) by signing up for MySchoolBucks.com.
The Maynard School Food Service has implemented an “Account Hold” policy. The policy is as follows:
Any student who has a NEGATIVE cafeteria balance will NOT be allowed to charge any further food or drink during in the cafeteria. They will be offered an alternative lunch of a Cheese Sandwich or Peanut Butter Sandwich.
Any student with a NEGATIVE balance who can not pay cash, will be given a peanut butter and jelly sandwich or a cheese sandwich with a cold milk or juice.
All parent complaints on the matter of charges will be handled by the manager within twenty-four (24) hours of receiving the complaint.
The food service director will assist in solving any issue as quickly as possible.

Any student leaving the Maynard Public Schools with a positive balance left on their lunch account may receive a refund. A Parent/Guardian must submit a refund request in writing (letter or email) to Colleen Andrade, stating the following:
If a leaving student has a sibling still attending Maynard Public Schools, any positive balance may be added to that sibling's lunch account.
