I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Arizona. My research interest includes high dimensional Bayesian statistics, Bayesian small area estimation, latent variable models and their application in Education and Psychology, and process data analysis.

Before joining the University of Arizona, I was a Postdoctoral Research Scientist supervised by Dr. Jingchen Liu and Dr. Zhiliang Ying in the Department of Statistics at Columbia University.

I obtained my doctoral degree from the Department of Statistics at University of Florida in August 2017. I was jointly advised by Dr. Malay Ghosh and Dr. Nikolay Bliznyuk

Before joining the Ph.D. program at UF, I received my Bachelor degree from Peking University, China.
