More “Stuff” from 6th grade:

  • Students need tennis shoes for P.E. on Monday and Wednesday.

  • We have “Fun Friday” to reward students with good behavior through the week.  Students can bring money on Fridays to buy snacks if desired.

  • 6th grade students may have a cell phone at school.  It will be placed in a bucket in the classroom.  It cannot be out at lunch or in the gym in the mornings.  It cannot be taken outside to recess.  There are times when students can play games on them in my classroom (no social media).  I will let them know when that is allowed.

  • Students are allowed to have drinks in the classroom.  The drink must be in a spill proof container or bottle.  (no highly caffeinated power drinks)

  • Students can have a small snack to eat in class at 2:00.  They know the rules on this.

  • Students will be treated like the young adults that they are becoming.  I expect them to act like that also.

  • 6th grade students need lots of sleep.  They need to go to bed early (9:00 is perfect) and eat a good breakfast every day.

  • My cell # is 618-638-7285.  Text me if you need to.
