Server maintenance will be performed on Wednesday, July 29, 2014 from 12:00AM to 3:00 AM (Pacific).  While the work is being performed, access to the main Marylhurst University website (www.marylhurst.edu), My Marylhurst (my.marylhurst.edu), Marylhurst Academic Portfolio (map.marylhurst.edu), and Marylhurst University blogs (blog.marylhurst.edu) may be intermittent.

Welcome to Spring 2014!

The ITS Help Desk would like to take a moment to welcome you to the 2014 Spring Quarter at Marylhurst University! To ensure the start of your quarter goes as smoothly as possible, please be aware of the following:

All online, hybrid or web-enhanced classes are taught on Moodle, at moodle.marylhurst.edu.

Even though you may be able to log in to Moodle, that does not mean you will have immediate access to your course(s). Access to your classes will be given during the first day of classes, Monday March 31st, no later than 5:00pm (PST).

Are you a student that is new to Moodle? Once you log in, you will have access to the Student Answer Lab. The Answer Lab provides you with an overview of Moodle and direct links to the Help Desk for further assistance. It can be found in the center of your Moodle homepage once you log in.

Your Moodle username and password should be the same as your My Marylhurst web portal username (i.e., Student ID #) and password. (Your My Marylhurst username and password are the logon information that you needed in order to register online. If you do not know your My Marylhurst password, please go to https://my.marylhurst.edu and click on the "Don't know my password" hyperlink. A new password will be sent to the e-mail account that you have on file with the Registrar.)

Register Your MU Gmail Account

If you have not done so already, go to the email you received in your personal email account regarding your new Marylhurst Gmail account. Follow the instructions provided in the email to set up your Marylhurst account. You will need this account for several activities in this course as well as future courses.

To learn more about your new Marylhurst Google account, how you can use it, and for assistance and troubleshooting, be sure to explore Marylhurst’s Google Apps for Education: Communication, Collaboration and Community for All!

ITS will be performing server maintenance on Wednesday, 3/12/2014, between 6:00 and 10:00 PM.  Connection to Jenzabar, My Marylhurst, Raiser's Edge, PowerFAIDS, and EMS will be sporadic during this time period.  Please contact the Help Desk at 6318 if you have any questions regarding the outage.

[Completed] Maintenance: Moodle - Wednesday, February 19-Thursday, February 20

Moodle will undergo maintenance between the hours of 11PM ET (8PM PT) on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 and 6AM ET (3AM PT) on Thursday, February 20, 2014.  Connectivity to the system may be intermittent while the work is being performed.
