#LicenseLove Actions

On Valentine's Day, join hundreds of equality advocates across the country to #LicenseLove in communities from coast to coast and raise awareness on why civil marriage equality matters.

In our fight to protect and respect all loving families, where will you act to #LicenseLove?

Since the early 2000's, Marriage Equality USA (MEUSA) and its partners have organized #LicenseLove actions on Valentine's Day (during National Freedom to Marry Week) to raise awareness of the importance of marriage equality. In states that lack the freedom to marry, couples put a human face to our struggle by requesting a marriage license from their county clerk. As we win equality in other stats, individuals and organizations participate in a variety of events to show solidarity with our friends and family in states where they cannot #LicenseLove and show that our fight continues until everyone can marry the person they love - no matter where you live, work or travel!

#LicenseLove is a program of MEUSA and other allied organizations and all supportive individuals and organizations are welcome to organize or participate in #LicenseLove events. Please contact us if you would like to organize a #LicenseLove event in your community!
