The centenary of the outbreak of the First World War, an event which Wellington College was hugely impacted by, will occur in 2014.

Of the 2200 Old Boys who attended the school between 1893 and 1914, over 1600 saw active service with 223 dead and a further 350 wounded. In memory of these College Old Boys our Year 9 History class wanted to share with you some of their stories. Each member of our class conducted a research project on a selected Old Boy or a Topic which relates to Wellington College and the First World War. Research on the selected Old Boys included their significant experiences at both Wellington College and during the War.

Find out more about the 2011 research project and see our Year 9 History Class here.
