Welcome to Mr. Carpenter's World!

Who Am I?

Proverbs 16:9—"In his heart a man plans his course but the LORD who determines his steps."

A native Memphian, I migrated to California 13 years ago on a leap of faith. Desiring and praying for a change, I was led here to continue to share my passion for Art and all it's wonders. I started my professional artistic journey as a graphic designer and cultivated this craft for almost 20 years. Having a desire and feeling creatively stifled, I wanted more and continued my education by acquiring a Master's Degree from the Academy of Art University of San Francisco. After receiving my Master's Degree in Illustration/Storyboarding, my passion to give back to those who are new to the field or who share the same passion as myself was filled when offered an opportunity to teach here at Marin Catholic High School.

I hope my legacy here will be that I am passionate about my craft and all those who enter my classroom leave with a new respect, love and admiration for the Arts.
