Tech: Evaluating Websites

Learning Objective:

Student will evaluate websites to determine if it is appropriate for web research.

Hook, Anticipatory Set, Introduction:  

Ask students how they find information on the internet.

Direction Instruction:

T. asks students review a website together evaluating accuracy, layout/navigation, relevance

Guided Practice:

T. asks students to identify areas of strength and weakness.

Independent Practice, Formative Assessment:

Students review seven websites using an evaluation form.

T. asks students to put paragraphs in the middle of their tables and prepare to move to next class.
