This 2021-22 year at MLE our elementary school has worked hard to PUMP up the PBIS program. We have new t-shirts coming for all elementary staff and students that will display IRISH PRIDE. Everyone is invited to wear their new (free) t-shirts at the monthly LATE START. We have also set up an IRISH PRIDE SHAMROCK store which allows students one time per month to cash in their IRISH pride tickets (shamrocks) for a cool prize. There are 4 tiers of prizes set up for each grade level.

Please encourage your students to show IRISH PRIDE and ask them about their shamrock tickets.

You will also hear the students talking about the character word each month. Each grade will select 2 students to be recognized for the character word traits and a certificate and free book will come home with them! We are so excited to CELEBRATE kids showing expected behaviors.

This year, Mrs. Weninger will be teaching Character Education to grades K-3rd from Sept 2021 through January then switching to grades 4-6 the first week in February 2022!
