Incoming 8th Grade Open House:
Thursday February 11th, West is hosting an open house for all incoming 8th graders and their parents/guardians.  The event will showcase our amazing programs including the Theatre Knights, NJROTC, STEAM Ahead, our clubs and activities, academic departments, and athletics (including a varsity boys basketball game against rival Goffstown).  Come check out all of the great things going on at West from 6:30-8:00pm.

SAT and PSAT Information
This is a reminder that ALL first time Juniors will be taking the SAT as the state accountability measure on Wednesday March 2nd during the school day.  Students have been registering online during their English classes.  This assessment is free for all first time Juniors and is a state required test.  Any student who is looking to attend some of the more highly competitive colleges are also invited to take the SAT writing test, but there is a fee for this portion of the test.  Students can register for the writing test online either from home or from school.

Sophomores recently took the PSAT for free and all score reports have gone home with students.  Sophomores should remember to use the My College Quickstart tool, as well as the Kahn Academy practice site, both offered through the College Board.  These tools will not only help students prepare to take the SAT, but they will also help students in the college search process!
